TRAINING

"Wildcat Media provided North Jersey Media Group with training on our new pagination system for more than 300 editorial employees, many of whom were unfamiliar with Word and QuarkXPress and some of whom were even new to PCs. Not only did Wildcat handle many of the classes, their trainers worked with our staff members to develop syllabuses and meaningful exercises. Wildcat also identified problem areas in the Quark style sheets and templates before our go-live date. With patience and perseverance, they helped make the rollout of a new system go smoothly at The Record and the Herald News.

PHOTO REQUEST SYSTEM

"After a very successful training experience, the North Jersey Media Group contacted Wildcat Media when we decided to develop our own Internet-based photo request system for our two daily newspapers, The Record and the Herald News. Wildcat worked closely with The Record's director of photography in developing this system.

Everyone involved was more than satisfied with Wildcat's work. They asked the right questions and provided a product that was 98% there at inception. They quickly addressed the few issues we had. One IT manager described the experience as rare but wonderful and said you couldn't ask for more from any vendor. Our photo managers couldn't be happier. The system allows them to coordinate photo coverage easily and efficiently. Because it is Internet based, the photographers can even check their assignments from home.
